Alexandria Bed and Breakfast and the Spotted Duck Cooking School are in Wynyard, North-West Tasmania
Alexandria is a beautiful and elegant federation home built in 1905 on the banks of the Inglis River. Set on two acres of cottage gardens and lush grassy paddocks, and home to resident alpacas, chickens and ducks.
Alexandria has five charming guest rooms. The main house has two double rooms and a single room overlooking the beautiful gardens. The cottage has two private rooms with garden and river views. All rooms have private en-suites, tea and coffee facilities, heating, television, electric blankets, wireless internet and use of laundry facilities.
Relax around the wood fire in the dining and living rooms. Choice of gourmet breakfast is included and guests can choose from our seasonal blackboard menu. Dinner is available and we use local organic produce where possible. We are licensed, offering a range of Tasmanian and mainland wines and beers. Enjoy complimentary home-made chocolate truffles and port on arrival
