In the main house there are seven en-suite queen bedrooms, some have stunning views across great Oyster Bay to Freycinet Peninsula. Adjoining the house are 4 semi-self contained studios, each is comfortably proportioned and with the addition off road parking and a private veranda on to the garden. Full breakfast is served each morning in our sunny breakfast. Set on 240 hectares of serene private beach frontage on Great Oyster Bay, the six cottages overlook the granite peaks of Freycinet Peninsula. Built bio-sustainably from local stone and timbers, the cottages have roofs of Kashmiri slate, wood fires and quality fittings. Each has a neutral magnetic field to guarantee restful sleep. Sytlish yet simple, the cabins are designed to impart welcoming familiarity and warmth without the intrusion of telephones or television. As Freycinet Lodge is located within a pristine National Park, entry fees do apply. Passes are available from the visitor information centre at the entrance to the park or Freycinet Lodge reception with prices for a 24 hour vehicle pass starting at $20.00. At Freycinet Lodge, children 4 years and under at the date of arrival stay free of charge (maximum of 2 children per room) if utilising existing bedding and if accompanied by a paying adult.

Swansea Cottages is situated in the historic township of Swansea on the central East Coast of Tasmania overlooking Great Oyster Bay and Freycinet National Park. Set in a unique village setting is your choice of well appointed suites or fully self contained 1,2 or 3 bedroom cottages/apartments offering quality and charm, combined with the homely comforts expected today.
